Answer- I wanted to have a boot camp or something like that, I may still.

· What is this work environment like?

Answer-So relaxed and social, everyone is there to better them self’s so it is full of positive people.

· What advice would you give me, that you wish someone would have told you?

Answer-Although certifications are extremely important and you should get as many as you can, remember employers want experience so work as much internship as you possibly can.

This assignment has been a very good experience for me. I kind of knew what a internship was but never thought that I would do one. Now though I have applied for a couple and I’m very excited to try some new careers out. I had never thought about public speaking but I ran across a internship were I would be helping an outreach program speaking and helping at risk youth with health and fitness. I am so excited! I found the application in one of the web sites in the reading. I think this activity has opened my options to another major I had not previously thought of, but I think I would be really good at and I would love to be a public speaker. I actually have a very unique back ground and would love to share it.

I also went to the Ranger station at Timp cave and talked to the manager over the internships for the Timp cave and the parks, she told me they will be doing hiring in January for the Summer of 2012. They have a internship program. I had no idea there was a internship program for everything.

Personality/Interests

Assessments Review Sheet Jennifer Watson

CLSS 2100 10-08-11

MBTI Report

My MBTI is ENTP, Extraverted Intuition with Thinking.

With my personality type my preferred tasks are, Developing strategy, recognizing multiple opportunities in the environment and selling others on new ideas and opportunities. My preferred work environments are fast pace high energy atmosphere. I thrive in autonomy and the freedom to think differently.

I looked at the top fifty in-demand jobs listed in the link career builder and the one I would like to look into a career in Physical therapy. I think this career path would suit me very well if I could modify it just a bit. I know I love to work with people and have to be moving all the time so this would fit me great.

SII Report

According to my SII report “Strong Interest Inventory” My top five interest are Medical Science-very high, Athletics-very high, Military-very high, healthcare services-high and Religion and Spirituality-high. Some of the Occupation I scored the highest on and that I would like to look into are Respiratory therapist, Physical Therapist, Parks and recreation, Advertising and I would like to look into some of the Culinary classes.

My Personal Style Scale says I like working with people, the careers I want to pursue are ones that work with or around others. I like to learn by doing and through lectures and books. This has been clear to me because of my work as a Dental Assistant, I knew that’s what I wanted so I called Dentist and asked them to train me. I really think I could do a crown prep with what I learned chair side. I lead by taking charge and enjoy being part of a team. I seem to be higher than average risk taker I know this because my reviewer made a point of this fact. I think this would go very well with some of my career choices in almost everyone I would be able to fulfill most aspects of my personality.
